Four days of strategic dialogue

Against the landscapes of the Alazani valley, a small group of large-business owners from the CIS stepped out of the operational flow to return to strategic vision. In the trusted, club-like atmosphere of a secluded hotel, participants examined their companies through the AVDO methodology — from maturity diagnostics to structural reorganization.

Each participant left with a diagnosis of their company’s state, an understanding of the next maturity level and a concrete transition plan.

Day 1

Introduction to the AVDO methodology

  • The adaptive company: why it is a condition for success in unpredictable markets
  • 7 levels of organizational maturity — from intuition to institutional leadership
  • Types of problems: from trivial to fatal
  • The dynamics of a crisis and finding the root cause
  • Levels 1–2 and case studies of transitions between them
Day 2

Company maturity levels (3–7)

  • Levels 3–7: systematization, manageability, automation, optimization, leadership
  • How the levels manifest across subsystems
  • Normal, abnormal and pathological problems of each level
  • Case studies of transitions and an overview of the model
Day 3

Key principles of an adaptive organization

  • Organizational diagnostics: environment, clients, SWOT
  • Mission, vision, values — and common mistakes
  • Strategy design: mission decomposition and corporate goals
Day 4

Structural reorganization

  • Management roles, short- and long-term performance
  • Structures of responsibility, authority and reward
  • System coherence and the first steps after the seminar
